Urban and everyday life in the city can make for outstanding subjects if photographed with an interesting twist to the view. New York based photographer Gail Albert Halaban, has done exactly this
in her urban photography project that she has very aptly named Out My Window. The entire series consists of photographs of neighboring houses which have been photographed with a voyeuristic
view, showing what the inhabitants are doing inside. At its face value, this might seem intrusive on the privacy of the subjects. However, Halaban clarified that the subjects were collaborators, and
all arrangements were done with their knowledge.
